The W. E. Balmer School offers a school-based answer to after school care and enriching activities.
The Balmer After School Enrichment (BASE) program is now in full swing. The program runs from Monday through Friday from 2:50-5:30PM. It is open to all Balmer students and registration will remain open throughout the school year.
We have some wonderfully exciting, enriching and age appropriate academic and recreational activities planned for the students. All students will be actively engaged and well taken care of in a safe environment throughout each afternoon. Beginning in November and continuing through May, students in Grade 3 and 4 will participate in MCAS Test support sessions. Teachers will utilize Language Arts and Math curriculum that is aligned with the Massachusetts State Standards.
The program is staffed by Balmer Teachers and Support Staff. The cost is $11.00 per day including a $5.00 registration fee.
