Tryouts for Fall 2010 Cheerleading - 
Informational meeting- June 7, 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Tryout- June 8, 9, 10, 2:30- 5 p.m.

Announcements will also be made in school.  Incoming Freshmen will be invited to tryout.  Participants interested in trying out for the fall team should plan for Team Practices to begin one week prior to the start of school.  All paperwork would have to be completed and fee payment made prior to the first practice in order to participate and remain on the team.  Practice schedule and competition schedule has not yet been determined.  Cheer seasons runs from one week prior to the first day of school through the end of the football season …please note that football season includes post-Thanksgiving games if the football team goes forward into playoff season.  Attendance at games / practices / tournaments is MANDATORY.

A summer camp (can be no more than 5 days) may be scheduled.  A decision will be made by the tryout date.

Northbridge Winter Varsity Cheerleading Squad has been awarded a "SILVER TEAM ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD" BY THE Massachusetts Secondary School Administrators' Association, Inc. (MSSAA) for maintaining a combined team GPA between 2.50 to 2.99 for the second marking period.
