The mission of the Northbridge High School Community is to provide an educational experience committed to high expectations and diverse learning opportunities for all students. The town of Northbridge (pop. 14,500) is a diverse and growing community in scenic south central Massachusetts highlighted by historic textile mills along the Blackstone and Mumford Rivers. Many of these architectural treasures have been rededicated to residential and professional use. The town and the area abound with outdoor recreational attractions. Additional cultural and educational resources are readily accessible in the nearby cities of Worcester, Boston, and Providence, RI.
Northbridge High School is an impressive new (2001) facility that reflects student, faculty, and community pride. Seven hundred and fifty students pursue a diverse, academically rigorous curriculum and enjoy a media center with an automated circulation system and 30 computers, well-equipped science labs, a 300 seat theatre, and a state of the art field house with an indoor track. Students may participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities and interscholastic sports. NORTHBRIDGE HIGH SCHOOL IS ACCREDITED BY THE NEW ENGLAND ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES
Northbridge High School's 55 certified teachers work cooperatively with guidance, student services, and the school administration to provide an exceptional learning environment that addresses the needs of all students. Many teachers have earned advanced degrees, and all participate in an ongoing program of professional development.
Northbridge High School's educational offerings afford students the opportunity to select AP, Honors and College/Post Secondary courses. Special Education is offered through the Special Education eligibility process.
Advanced Placement courses are available in Calculus, U.S. History, English, Chemistry, and Biology.

To graduate from Northbridge High School, students must accumulate 120 credits based on course work completed in grades 9-12.

Class Rank is a cumulative computation of a student's academic standing in his/her class. It is a weighted ranking system where both the levels and course grades are used to determine grade point average and class standing. Junior Class Rank is based on six semesters and Senior Final Class Rank based on eight semesters.
