You will find information about upcoming events, forms, permission slips, newsletters, etc., in the virtual backpack. We are hoping that this new "Backpack" will help to keep open lines of communication between home and school.
Northbridge Public Schools has once again been cited as a model in the national publication, District Administration. We hosted a team from Somerville, NJ in the summer of 2013. This article serves to document their site visit.
The Fall 2014 issue of the Nurse's newsletter was released on October 20, 2014. This newsletter was developed by the school nurses in Northbridge to highlight topics on interest to students and parents/guardians.
A clinical advisory has been provided to all health offices in the Northbridge School System regarding the EV-D68, Enterovirus, that has been reported in the news in recent days. Although no cases of EV-D68 have been officially identified in Massachusetts, there are suspected cases that are being monitored closely in Boston and Springfield. Dr. Stickney presented her Entry Plan to the School Committee on September 9, 2014. Please see the attachments to review the Entry Plan and presentation. Dr. Stickney's annual goals were approved by the School Committee on September 23, 2014.
