Health Updates - Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Living in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic leaves us with many questions as to what life afterwards will look like. We know everyone will have to adjust to a new normal. Our nurses and office staff are waiting for guidance from the MA Department of Public Health, MA School Nurse Organization, and our school Superintendent, and Administrators. New policies will be developed and implemented with the safety and health of our students and staff in mind. The W. E. Balmer School provides a full range of health care services for students. The Health Office is located next to the Main Office and is staffed during the school day by a registered nurse.
We ask that you keep your child home if he or she has vomited that morning and students should be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.
