FY24 NHS Student Parking Permit Application
NHS STUDENT PARKING PERMIT REGULATIONS AND APPLICATIONS
The NHS Parking Permit Application form must be completely and accurately filled out prior to issuance of a NHS Parking Permit. Any data omitted will result in non-processing of this application.
Parking Permit fee is $50.00. Decals must be placed on the driver’s side, front window, and lower left corner. Decals must be displayed on any parked vehicle at all times when parked on school property. You can bring a check when school starts to the main office or go on the school department website and pay on the "On Line Payment" section on the left of the front page. NPS.org
Priority of issuance for student NHS Parking Permit is as follows:
Handicapped, Juniors, Seniors,School Choice,Sophomores/Freshman.
The NHS Student Handbook outlines the general regulatory data pertaining to parking and parking permits. Remember, vehicle parking is a privilege, not a right. Additionally, the below listed regulations are in effect. Failure to adhere to the Handbook and/or these regulations may result in disciplinary action(s):
A) Students must park in designated areas only. The Senior Lot is near the Gym. The other student lot is on the right when enter the school grounds
B) Observe the 10-mph speed limit. Any driving that jeopardizes the safety of all students/public may result in loss of driving privileges and/or disciplinary action.
C) Frequent tardiness may result in a suspension of parking privileges.
D) No student may transport another student who has left school without permission.
E) Student vehicles may leave the school grounds prior to the departure of school busses. However, once the busses begin to depart student vehicles must wait until all busses have left the main lot area. At no time should a student cut in front of a bus.
F) No littering or loitering – Help keep our school campus clean.
G) All cars must be locked at all times. Northbridge High School is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
H) Vehicles parked on school property are subject to search if there is reasonable suspicion that a crime has been committed or that the safety of the school is in jeopardy.
Any violation of the above rules may result in a loss of privilege to use the parking lot or other disciplinary action as deemed appropriate.
