Truancy and Attendance Notice

There is no doubt and research proves that one of the keys to academic achievement is excellent attendance. Consistent participation in school and school activities is important for making a successful transition from youth to adulthood.

Donations Needed: Gray Family Burnt Out by Fire

As many of you know, the Gray family lost everything in a fire last Friday, January 27, 2012 and have been displaced from their home. Five of the Gray children attend the Northbridge Schools. Three children attend the W. Edward Balmer School, one attends the Northbridge Middle School and one attends the Northbridge High School.

"Read to Succeed" at Balmer

Dear Families,

Balmer is participating in an exciting program that encourages children in grades K through 6 to read for fun. Read to Succeed is a free program from Six Flags® and Discovery Education. Every student who completes six hours of recreational reading before Tuesday, February 28, 2012 is eligible for a free admission ticket valid at Six Flags theme park in Agawam, MA.
