Welcome to the 2016-2017 School Year!

Dear Parent/Guardian,

I would like to offer a warm welcome to all students and families to the Northbridge Elementary School. We look forward to meeting our new students and seeing those students who are returning to our school!

Summer Reading

Summer is an important time to enjoy family activities, but it is also an important time for students to keep reading
and improve their language skills. Research shows that many students who do not read during the summer
experience the “summer slide” where their reading abilities decline. Our goal is to encourage students to read
during the summer, so that they will more successful in kindergarten and first grade!
