MS Open House

NMS will be holding an Open House for the 2016-17 school year on Tuesday, August 30 from 11:00-12:00. Any family wishing to walk through the school and find their child's classrooms may do so during this time.

NMS Student Council member and Administration will be on hand to provide support and answer questions.

We hope to see you on August 30th!

Please Welcome our new Assistant Principal, Nicholas Hoffman!

Northrbidge Public Schools is thrilled to announce that we have filled the 2nd assistant principal position with Nicholas Hoffman.

Most recently, Nick was a counselor at the Wire Village School where he was involved with delivering and maintaining a comprehensive and data-driven program, providing staff with student behavioral support, organizing community outreach for students and families. Nick was also responsible for the creation and integration of a PBIS program.

Please welcome the new Assistant Principal at NMS, Mr. Robert O'Brien

Mr. Zywien is proud to announce the hiring of an Assistant Principal at NMS, Mr. Robert O'Brien.

Robert served as the principal of Holbrook Junior-Senior High School and David Prouty High School, leading both schools to Level 1 ratings by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Prior to that, he spent 13 years as a teacher, coach, athletic director and administrator in the Dudley-Charlton Regional School District.

Ipass Information & Student Supply Lists for the Fall

Here is some information on how to sign up for IPASS.  On Ipass, you can view your child's schedule, current teacher's rankbook assignments, Progress Reports and Report Cards. Please note Fall 2016 Schedules are not available at this time. 

Also attached is the Recommended Student Supply list.

NMS - Veldi Tribe

The students on the Veldi Tribe created placemats to represent items in their pleasure reading books.  Each item was to represent the characters, theme, plot, etc.  Attached are some photos of the students sitting around our "dinner table" talking about great books they read.  They used the placemat to help them recall ideas and points of interest.
