Congratulations NHS Class of 2010!

This Friday, June 4th, the Northbridge Public School District will bid farewell to the graduating seniors of Northbridge High School. Graduation marks both the end and the beginning. For the graduates, it will mark the end of their educational careers in Northbridge. For many, it will mark the end of many, many years of learning, socializing, and maturing together. There are sure to be tears of both joy and sadness; the realization that, while much excitement awaits them, NHS graduates will be saying goodbye to a very special time in their lives.

Northbridge Wins the Battle of the Bridges

Lauren Drew, Allycia Gasco, and Danyelle Doldoorian Field Hockey Captains with the Battle of the Bridges Trophy.

As reported in the Worcester Telegram & Gazette today:

The Mumford and Uxbridge Councils of the Knights of Columbus have announced that Northbridge High School has won the sixth annual Battle of the Bridges contest between Northbridge and Uxbridge high schools. This is the first time Northbridge has won the contest.

Danyelle Doldoorian awarded the Carrick Scholarship Award

Danyelle M. Doldoorian, Class of 2010 at Norrthbridge High School, has been awarded the Carrick Scholarship Award. This prestigious award is given each year to one outstanding graduating senior from Blackstone Valley area.

Danyelle was chosen for her outstanding academic achievement, extra curricular activies, and school and community involvement. As a junior Danyelle recieved the NHS Mathematics Medal, and the Harvard Book Award.
