Parent Bullying Survey

As part of our continuing efforts to assess and deal with bullying, the Northbridge Public School District is again surveying students, staff, and parents on bullying issues that may exist in our schools. The parent survey is now available through this link.

Teacher and Staff Recognition

The Northbridge Education Foundation (NEF) invites you to honor those educators and staff members who have made or are currently making a difference in your children’s lives by participating in the NEF Teacher and Staff Recognition Program. Make a tax-deductible donation to NEF in a teacher/staff member’s name and you will both thank that educator for a job well done AND help fund NEF programs that foster innovation and excellence in teaching throughout the district.

NEF will send honorees a card including your name as indicated thanking the teacher or staff member. The amount of the donation is kept confidential.

IMPORTANT! The deadline for receipt of donation is Friday, June 7, 2013.

NHS Science Club Whale Watch

On May 10th the NHS science club sponsored a Captain John whale watch leaving from Plymouth Harbor. 47 NHS students went on the trip. We were extremely lucky with the weather and calm seas. Mr. Ostopowich thanked all the administrative support for this successful educational experience.Calm seas, an association of humpback whales, minke whales, dolphins, porpoises and harbor seals were seen by all.

Advisory Groups Send their Best Wishes to the Class of '13

Three NHS student advisory groups used their time on Monday morning to write well-wishes for the Class of 2013. The illustrations and messages line the walkways on both sides of the academic wing. Seniors can get a great view of their messages from the second and third floor classrooms. A few of the drawings are posted here.
