Dress for Success

On Friday, October 24th our NHS DECA group along with the NHS Business Academy arranged for a representative from Men's Warehouse to speak to the school's upperclassmen. The speaker addressed the topic of "Dress for Success." He offered tips and suggestions on how to best present yourself in a professional manner. He stressed that people should dress the way they want to be seen.  For example if a student wants to be seen as professional and responsible they should take the time to wash and iron their clothes and spend a few extra minutes on personal grooming.

Computer and Business Academies Visit Fitchburg State University

On Friday, October 17th members of the Computer and Business academies took a trip to Fitchburg State University.  We spent the day on campus experiencing what it would be like to continue academy studies at the college level. We started our visit with Kristen Banks, an admissions official who greeted us with gift bags filled with information on the college.
