What an amazing group of young ladies! These "Girls on the Run" just did their first practice 5k yesterday afternoon, in preparation for their 'real' 5k in Worcester on Nov. 24th. They absolutely rocked it! Thank you to Coaches Ms. Sitko and Ms. Bray, as well as all our family volunteers!

NES election results are official/certified! Thanks to all of our teachers, staff & family volunteers who assisted us today! A special "Thank You" to the Town of Northbridge and Linda Zywien for the use of their ballot boxes. What a wonderful culmination this was to learning about the election process!

The NES Mock Election is in full swing! After learning about the election process, students are entering the "polls" today to vote on the song they want their principals to perform to in the lip sync battle. As of 10:30am "Life is a Highway" has narrowly inched it's way into first place with only a 25 point lead. "Scuttlebutt" and "Better When I'm Dancing" have a 3 pt difference for second place. Stay tuned!

Thank you families and friends for your generous giving to the PTA's Boosterthon this past week! We exceeded our first goal of $15,000 on Day 3, and rose to the challenge of raising $25,000! Wow, wow, wow! True to their word, Principal Dolan and Principal Allen fully embraced the joy of being slimed by their students as a reward. Well done, everyone!
