Over recent years, district expenses have significantly outpaced available revenue, creating a gap that must be filled to maintain quality education for our students. Despite the district’s best efforts, the additional appropriation from the town averages only 2% annually, which is insufficient to meet rising costs, such as salaries, transportation, and out-of-district costs.
