NES Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year is currently open online through February 20, 2026. Children currently enrolled in the NES Pre-School program are already registered and do not need to do anything. The first step for all other registrations is completion of the online registration. Please click the Registration Information link below for further instructions on how to register. Once your online registration (OLR) is received, an email will be sent to schedule an in person appointment on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Any Northbridge child who will turn 5 on or before August 31, 2026 is eligible to attend Kindergarten in fall of 2026.
At the February 25th appointment, guardians will be required to bring the information below:
Copy of most recent physical with immunizations
Northbridge Public Schools Residency Statement: (must be completed in entirety with documentation from Column A, Column B and Column C). Policy, Statement and Affidavit linked here. The Residency Affidavit will be required if you are unable to provide documentation from Column A, Column B and Column C on the Residency Statement.
Original birth certificate with foil seal or watermark (we will photocopy and return but must receive the original)
Any legal documentation pertaining to the child (ie. custody paperwork, etc.), if applicable
Any academic support paperwork (ie. IEP, 504, etc.), if applicable.
*Guardians who do not bring the necessary documents will be asked to return with the completed documentation at another time.
